Dr Jasmeen Kaur – Dentist
Dr Jasmeen Kaur practiced in Sydney and on the Sunshine Coast before moving to Brisbane. She graduated with honours from the University of Otago, New Zealand in 2007, having won numerous prizes and awards for her academic achievements throughout her degree.
Jasmeen worked for 6 years in the heart of Sydney CBD, Neutral Bay and Glebe for practices which were amongst the largest owned practices in Australia. She also worked for three years at her own practice on the Sunshine Coast that covered all aspects of dentistry.
Jasmeen’s interests include functional orthodontics (generally without extraction of teeth), TMJ (disorders of jaw relating to head and neck pain), cosmetic dentistry (including crowns, veneers and teeth whitening) and children’s dentistry. Jasmeen takes a holistic approach to dentistry and is always conscious of the impact on general health and wellbeing. She likes practicing dentistry with an approach of whole body and mind. She works with Australia’s best osteopaths, chiropractors, naturopaths and nutritionists.
Jasmeen completed her two year mini residency in Orthodontics in 2013, after which he worked with a top orthodontist in Sydney, Dr Derek Mahony. She uses removable and fixed appliances to create balance and facial harmony.
One thing Jasmeen really enjoys is being able to help patients who have dental phobias. She is passionate about helping nervous patients overcome their fears of the dentist and regain good dental health and all the benefits it can bring. Apart from dentistry, her other interests include cooking, painting, reading, yoga, travelling with her young family and educating herself about well-being and how to live a holistic lifestyle.
Katrina – Practice Manager
“It’s such a privilege to be working with such a great, passionate team. I’m proud that we are able to offer a service which is beyond expectations. Over the past 18 months, many of our patients have become friends. We look forward to the next time they are in for a check up so we can also catch up. I love getting to know our patients and being there for them when they need us.”
Meghan – Practice Co-ordinator
“I’ve been working in the dental industry for around 12 years, and I love what we do. As an anxious patient myself, I can empathise with so many others that have dental fears and phobias. I enjoy making every patient feel special, and providing a positive dental experience. I try to be warm and welcoming both in person and on the phone, and give people the care and consideration they need.”
